Je Suis was founded on a trip to Paris. I was standing at the entrance to the sacre Coeur, looking out across the Parisian skyline and feeling completely jaded and disillusioned at the world around me.
It was looking at the complete stranger next to me, who had helped me find my way when I was lost and I realised, as much as we look for things outside us, we are just perfect as we are. 'je suis comme je suis' - I am as I am, and that's perfectly the way I ought to be.
In November 2005, Je Suis Natural Therapies and Products opened it's doors for the first time. Our philosophy is simply this - we are all part of a perfect whole and all our products and therapies constantly reflect this attitude. We do not strive for cosmetic value, but for a soul healing experience. At Je Suis you will always be treated as perfectly individually YOU.

Recycling and Care for the Environment:
We strive to use recycled boxes and packaging supplies for all our mailed parcels. ALL our decorative boxes & bags are hand-made from recycled materials. Our embellishments and decorations are made from recycled papers, pressed flowers and natural fibres. We even use handmade natural papers for our stationary.
CONTAINER CREDIT:
We would like to encourage our customers to join us in increasing awareness about our ailing environment. As a result we offer all our customers a $2 CONTAINER CREDIT. All Je Suis glass and aluminium containers/bottles that are returned to us will be credited with $2 per container. This credit can be used against ANY Je suis Product or Service.
Animal Testing:
At Je Suis we are VEHEMENTLY against product testing on animals. Our products are tested on beauty junkies, eager family & friends and an enthusiastic 6 year old daughter who tends to eat most of our scrubs and creams. This means that all our products are 100% ethical and cruelty free.
Gift Vouchers:
Gift Vouchers are available for all our products and services. We are happy to provide electronic vouchers or mailed vouchers in any denomination. All you have to do is ask.
Australian made:
All our products are handmade here in Melbourne, Australia. We use as many quality, organic Australian ingredients as we possibly can in our products and are very proud to carry the ‘made in Australia’ symbol.
